Unlinking participants

It may happen that you want to unlink a participant who has (perhaps accidentally) been linked to you. When you unlink a participant, you remove this participant from your list of participants. After unlinking, you will no longer have access to the student's progress.

Note: Unlinking a participant does not affect the student's progress. Everything will be saved on the student's account.

To unlink a participant, follow these steps:

1. In your participants list, go to the student you want to unlink and click on their name.
2. Then click on the 'Settings' button, located at the top right above the XP bar.
3. In this screen, you will see the class the participant is in and any added notes.
4. Under the participant's information, click on the red 'Decouple' button.
5. You will then have the option to transfer or unlink the participant.
   • If you want to transfer the participant, select a colleague who is also enrolled in the learning program from the drop-down menu.
   • If you do not want to transfer the participant, select that option from the drop-down menu.
6. Confirm this by clicking the red 'Transfer' button. You have now successfully unlinked the participant and will be automatically returned to your participants list.
